Curriculum

The Hair Academy is an 1800-hour Cosmetology program. During the course of the program students will learn the basic manipulative skills, safety judgments, proper work habits, business skills, and desirable attitudes necessary to obtain licensure.

As of August 2021, a 1500-hour course is required for students desiring a license to practice Cosmetology in the state of North Dakota. The Hair Academy is staying a 1800 hour program as we believe the extra 300 hours obtained will benefit students by providing critical time to develop customer service skills and gain the confidence that will help them succeed in their future cosmetology career.
