The Hair Academy encourages their students to participate in local, regional and national competitions.

The instructors at The Hair Academy assist students to develope their own creativity and independence as a cosmetologist and encourages all students to work and compete in all phases of the cosmetology field to feel comfortable doing it all!

Peel's Salon Source Competition

Mackenzie, a current student of The Hair Academy who loves doing haircolor and haircuts participated in a local hair competition put on by Peel's Salon Source and won First Place! All winners throughout the country were then entered into the National Competition and featured The Hair Academy and Mackenzie in Peel's national magazine.

Ethel's 99th birthday party

The Hair Academy staff and students threw Ethel a birthday party for her 99th birthday! Ethel has had her hair styled once a week, every week since the school was opened in 2005.
